Throwback Post 2 – The start of Tech mend Grimsby.
Wanting to concentrate on his own business development, and have his own artistic rights for the business, Leon chose to part ways with the partnership in Grimsby Pc and Consoles, and decided to open Tech Mend Grimsby
Tech Mend focused on no fluff, honest repair and advice on Computers, phones and gadgets.
Tech mend was special, as it was Leon’s pride and joy. A lot of people, and customers to this day still call him to do repairs because of this shop and its legacy.
Picking up traction, Leon was approached by the country manager at the time for Onity. It ended with Leon eventually joining onity Onity (United Technologies/Carrier, now part of Honeywell), as the Technical Engineer for the North of the UK.
He started off as a contractor doing installations of locks, and access control. He was then offered to apply for the position of Northern Engineer which was an opportunity he could not refuse.
If he had not been given that opportunity – Tech mend would still be open to this day.
Tech mend had the core principles of giving cost effective solutions – without the fluff, and honest advice and repairs.
More than 8 years have passed since the business closed.
Leon thought it was time to go back to what he enjoys – Corseva is evolution of Tech Mend Grimsby.
